AFAQY S.A.F.E.R. AI CCTV HSE Violation Detection Solution
Introduction
Afaqy proposes a centralized, AI-powered video analytics solution for BEAH Waste Services, aimed at transforming operations across the BEAH network. The AFAQY S.A.F.E.R. is an AI CCTV HSE Violation Detection System which is an AI-powered safety system designed for the detection of unsafe events remotely. The proposed system integrates real-time video feeds with intelligent analytics across multiple plant sites, enabling proactive monitoring and automation. Each site will be equipped with smart surveillance cameras capable of detecting safety, operational, and compliance events. These cameras are connected to a unified backend that processes visual data using state-of-the-art computer vision models, delivering actionable insights through an intuitive plant-level dashboard.
Cameras deployed across four STPs (each consisting of multiple operational zones) will feed their video streams through PoE switches, with uplinks via optical fiber. The feeds are then routed through on-site Network Video Recorders (NVRs), and centralized at a main server for Al processing and storage. Fortinet firewalls will manage inter-site communication and secure data exchange. The output is visualized through a browser-accessible platform, where HSE managers can view live alerts, historical event logs, and KPI-driven analytics tailored to each operational context - from PPE compliance to leak detection and unauthorized access.

Functional Coverage PPE & Safety:

Helmet Violation:
Detects workers without proper head protection in designated areas, preventing head injuries from falling objects or impact hazards.
Vest Violation:

Gloves Violation:

Lone Violation:
Detects isolated workers in hazardous zones where buddy system or supervision is mandatory for safety.
Speeding Violation:
Identifies vehicles or equipment exceeding safe speed limits in work zones, preventing collisions and accidents.
Spill Violation:
Detects liquid spills or leaks that create slip hazards or indicate chemical/oil containment breaches.
Fall Detection:
Real-time detection of worker falls or collapse, enabling immediate medical response and rescue operations.
Tickets User Interface
Violation:
A violation occurs when a worker is detected without required PPE equipment (helmet, safety coat, etc.) by the camera system.
Ticket:
A ticket is an automated record of similar violations, generated for each site unit, containing details like timestamp, location, violation type, and “involved workers” with “images of the violations”. Each ticket has a unique ID (e.g., TKT1101, TKT1102) for tracking and resolution purposes.
Ticket Details:
Each ticket displays comprehensive information including the site name and location (e.g., Maintenance Unit 1, AL SEEB STP, MUSCAT), ticket duration (e.g., ), date and time of occurrence (e.g., 14 Jul, 2:49PM), the specific violation type detected (e.g., Helmet violation, Coat violation), and the number of violations captured in that ticket (e.g., 3 violations).

Sites can be expanded to view individual units within them, with each unit displaying its own staff count, contact number, and registration timestamp for detailed organizational hierarchy and management.

Each unit within the site displays its assigned personnel with role indicators (supervisors marked with crown icons) and default-assigned staff clearly labeled. Below the staff roster, a Linked Cameras section shows all monitoring cameras connected to each unit by their unique IDs (e.g., CAM1163). This layout enables administrators to efficiently manage staff assignments and track camera coverage across all units within the site.

The Users Management page provides a centralized hub for managing all system personnel, categorized into Managers and Employees tabs. Administrators can search users by name and filter by sites, units, or departments. Each user entry displays their profile picture, name, assigned site and unit, phone number, job designation, department, and registration date. The action bar includes options to manage departments, download templates, import bulk user data, and invite new users for efficient personnel administration.

Severity level is a code provided to Incidents, Problems and Changes, indicating their underlying technical complexity and their impact on technical resources & Business processes. Used in conjunction with Business Impact and Business Urgency, it is one of the factors for allocating IT priorities. At Tamkeen Severity levels are defined as below: High: It is termed as complete outage or unavailability of service. IT infrastructure / Network related issues due to which customers can’t continue to work or related to revenue loss. Continued attention & support is required till the problem resolution.
Normal: An outage which is not directly impacting on the overall services or business processes while does have minimal impact. The same needs to be addressed as priority as extended outage can lead to loss of data or revenue.
Low: Minor issues, routine Q&A, scheduled maintenance and support consulting which do not affect work at all rather an inconvenience or scheduled task which needs attention.
