The Work Order section allows you to manage vehicle maintenance workflows by logging all required tasks, assigning teams or vendors, linking issues, and specifying parts or labor to be performed. It helps organize corrective, preventive, and scheduled maintenance operations in a structured and traceable format.

View

  • Work orders are displayed in a table with these columns:
    • Name
    • Reference
    • Status
    • Date / End Date
    • Category
    • Work Order Type
    • Assigned To
    • Total
    • Reported By
    • Issues
    • Labors
    • Actions
    • Filter

      Accessible via the Filter button, the panel includes:

    • Vehicles
    • Status
    • End Date From / End Date To
    • Click Apply Filters to view filtered work orders.

  • Customize your table view using the Show/Hide Columns option

Available columns include:

Create

To create a new work order:

  • Click Add New
  • Fill in the following:
    1. 1. Main Information

    2. Select Vehicle (required)
    3. Category (e.g., Corrective Maintenance) – required
    4. Division, Department, Workshop, Zone (optional fields)
    5. Work Order Type (e.g., Internal, External) – required
    6. Odometer + optional Void Odometer
    7. Engine Hours + optional Void Engine Hours
    8. Start Date / Time (required)
    9. End Date / Time (optional)
    10. Reported By (required)
    11. Assigned To, Vendor (optional)
    12. Labels, Invoice Number, PO Number (optional)

2. Issues

  • View linked issues by status (Open / In Progress / Closed)
  • Option to Create New Issue directly from the work order
💡

A work order cannot be created without the existence of an issue

3. Line Items

  • Select Labors and Parts related to the service task
  • Browse and choose from a predefined list (e.g., A/C Compressor Replacement, A/C Diagnosis, etc.)
  • Click Save to finalize work order creation.

Actions

  • Create, Edit, or Delete work orders
  • Assign issues or tasks
  • Track labor and part usage under Line Items
  • Update status based on progress or completion
