Fleet

Fleet is the maintenance management module within the Tepra ecosystem. It helps fleet operators monitor, plan, and log vehicle servicing activities in a structured and reliable way. By tracking completed services, configuring recurring service plans, and alerting users to upcoming or overdue maintenance, Fleet plays a key role in improving vehicle health, reducing downtime, and extending asset lifespan.

This module is especially useful for operational teams looking to streamline workshop tasks, maintain service history per vehicle, and ensure timely intervention based on mileage or time-based triggers. Whether you manage a few vehicles or an entire fleet, the system provides the tools you need to stay ahead of servicing needs.

Prerequisites

Before using Fleet, ensure the following:

All vehicles are properly registered in Tepra Core under the Assets section.
Service types have been predefined to standardize records.
Vehicles have accurate mileage readings either via CAN bus or user updates.
User roles assigned to Fleet must have appropriate permissions to create, edit, and view service data.

Tepra Core: Pulls vehicle data and mileage from the Assets module.
IVMS: Uses trip and engine data to estimate mileage for service reminders.
Journey (Upcoming): Will factor route-based wear and tear in future releases.

This integration enables real-time syncing of vehicle usage data with service tracking and predictive maintenance.
