    The Locations section enables organizations to define and group physical spaces where assets operate. It is composed of two subsections: Places and Zones.

    Places

    Places List Features

    • Name
    • Type (Geofence, Warehouse, Customer)
    • Zones
    • Actions: Edit, Clone, Manage Access, Assign App, Delete

    Place Creation Steps

    1. Navigate to Locations > Places, click Add New.
    2. Fill the form:
      • Select Type, enter Name, and choose Shape:
        • For Circle: Cursor changes to a plus symbol, allowing drag to draw.
        • For Polygon/Line: Click to mark vertices, then double-click to finish.
      • Complete additional fields:
        • Zones, color, applications, area, and address (optional).
      • If Type = Warehouse: Provide warehouse phone number and optionally add buildings.
    3. Click Save.

    Zones

    Zone List Features:

    • Name
    • Number of Places (total and by type)
    • Actions: Edit, Clone, Manage Access, Delete

    Zone Creation Steps:

    1. Navigate to Locations > Zones, click Add New.
    2. Enter Name.
    3. Click Save.
