The App Settings module in Tepra Core provides centralized configuration options that apply globally across the system. These settings include preferences related to language, currency, units, GPS behavior, sensor thresholds, and visual preferences for monitoring and map display.

All configuration changes in this section apply system-wide and are especially critical before activating location-based or sensor-dependent tracking apps like IVMS, Fleet, and Journey.

General Settings

This section allows administrators to configure basic operational parameters:

  • Language & Currency:
    • Language
    • Currency
  • Date & Time:
    • Calendar Type
    • Time Zone
    • Start Day of the Week
    • Date Format

    • Clock Format
  • Measurement Units Settings:
    • Volume
    • Weight
    • Length
    • Count
    • Temperature
    • Distance

All fields here are required and must be filled before saving.

Accuracy

Used to define GPS movement detection rules for reporting, this section offers two movement modes:

  • GPS + ACC
  • GPS Only

The following fields are required for both modes:

  • Min Speed (Km/h)
  • Max Distance Between Messages (m)
  • Min Park (Sec.)
  • Min Stop (Sec.)
  • Min Trip Distance (m.)
  • Min Trip Time (Sec.)
  • Min Satellite
  • Max Duration Between Messages

Each setting directly affects how trips, stops, and park durations are calculated.

Sensor Settings

This section defines value thresholds for sensors associated with specific vehicle types.

To configure sensor thresholds

  1. Choose one or more Vehicle Types (e.g., Pickup Truck, SUV).
  2. Select a Sensor Type from the following:
    • Weight
    • Vehicle Speed Sensor
    • Vehicle Battery
    • UHFID
    • Trailer Bind
    • TPM
  3. Click Add New Interval and enter:
    • Start and End Range
    • Color for visualization

Repeat the step to configure multiple intervals per sensor type.

Monitoring Settings

This setting controls how long a vehicle can remain inactive before it's considered disconnected.

  • Connection State (Min.) β€” Set the time (in minutes) to define disconnection.

Maps Settings

This configuration defines how map view behaves on login and when creating geolocations.

  • Location Type:
    • Company Location: Centers the map on your company’s predefined location.
    • Custom: Allows users to set a custom map center using:
      • Latitude
      • Longitude
      • Pin Map Location manually
  • Remember Last Map Location: When enabled, the system retains the last used location as the default for future logins.
