The Messages section provides a detailed log of the incoming data from tracking devices. Each message represents a snapshot of vehicle status at a specific moment in time.

Through the Messages module, you can trace all the signals a vehicle sent during a selected period to review and test its activity or investigate any unusual patterns.

    Tracing Messages

    To view and trace messages:

    1. Use the search bar to select the vehicle you want to inspect.
    2. Select the date and time range.
    3. Click Trace to fetch results.

    Once loaded:

    • Summary cards show the total activity values for the vehicle in that timeframe โ€” consider this as a quick visual report.

    Table View

    • The data appears in a table view, separated by days so you can easily browse signal logs by date.

    • You can toggle Parameters to display the raw data format from the device.

Export the signal logs of any day if you need to analyze it in XLS, XLSX, and CSV format.

    Graph View

You can switch to the Graph view to visually analyze signal behavior over time:

    • Select the sensor from the dropdown list (e.g., Vehicle Battery).
    • Choose the Signal Type (e.g., Calibrated Value or Raw).
    • The system will plot the signal values as data points across the selected day.

    • Clicking on a specific point in the graph displays its exact value and timestamp, with supporting icons to further understand it.
