📖 Afaqy Knowledge Base / Tepra / IVMS / Events
The Events module helps you monitor and react to specific conditions detected by your tracking devices or sensors. These conditions can include speed violations, geofence entries/exits, ignition status changes, and more.
For example:
If a vehicle exceeds a specific speed for a certain duration within a designated zone, the system will instantly send you a notification. That automated trigger is what we call an event.
Event Types
- Under Speed Triggered when the vehicle’s speed stays below the defined limit for longer than the specified duration.
- Over Speed Triggered when the vehicle’s speed exceeds the defined limit for longer than the specified duration.
- Over Speed (Google) Same as the Over Speed event but measured using Google's data.
- Zone In Triggered when the vehicle enters a predefined zone and remains there longer than the allowed time.
- Zone Out Triggered when the vehicle exits a predefined zone and stays outside longer than the allowed time.
- No Connection Triggered when the vehicle stops transmitting data for the configured duration.
- Stop Triggered when the vehicle stops moving and the engine is turned off for the specified time.
- Idle Triggered when the vehicle stops moving but the engine remains on for the specified time.
- Power Cut Triggered when the vehicle’s battery voltage drops to 0 volts for the configured duration.
