CONTENTS

The Reports module provides operational and regulatory reporting across client accounts.

It includes:

  • Trip Log Report
  • WASL Trip Report

Both reports share common filtering behavior, generation logic, and export functionality.

Report Generation Logic

Reports do not display data by default.

The table remains empty until required filters are selected and Generate is clicked.

Mandatory Filters

Before generating any report, the administrator must define:

  • Account
  • Date & Time Range
  • Unit (Vehicle)

Generate Button

Clicking Generate:

  • Validates filter inputs
  • Validates date range (≤ 3 months)
  • Retrieves filtered data
  • Populates the report table

Data reflects only the selected account and time range.

Export Functionality

Both reports support:

  • CSV Export

Export behavior:

  • Exports only the currently generated dataset
  • Respects selected filters
  • Includes all visible columns

Exports reflect the exact state of the generated report.

Reporting Time Range Limitation

The selected reporting period:

  • Must not exceed 3 months
  • If the selected range exceeds 3 months, the report will not generate

This limitation ensures:

  • System performance stability
  • Compliance with reporting constraints
  • Efficient export processing

Empty State Behavior

If required filters are not selected:

  • The table displays no records
  • The record counter shows:
  • Showing 0 to 0 of 0 entries

This is expected behavior until Generate is clicked with valid filters.
