📖 Afaqy Knowledge Base / AVL / Users
The Users module allows administrators to manage system users, define their access level, and control what parts of the platform each user can view or manage.
Users are linked to roles and permissions, which determine visibility, available actions, and accessible data across the system.

Roles & Permissions
Each user is assigned a role, which controls:
- Accessible modules
- Allowed actions (view, create, edit, delete)
- Visibility of units, reports, and settings
Roles are managed separately and must be properly configured before assigning users.
User Activity & Auditing
User-related activity can be tracked using:
- Users Login History Report
- Event Logs
- Action tracking (where enabled)
These reports help monitor access, usage patterns, and security compliance.
Best Practices
- Assign the minimum required role for each user
- Review inactive users regularly
- Use strong passwords and update credentials periodically
Permissions & Visibility
- Only authorized users can manage user accounts
- Visibility of users depends on account hierarchy and role configuration
