The Multi-Unit Follow (MUF) module stands out as a distinctive feature of the AVL system, providing users with enhanced control and focus. Designed for precision, MUF allows users to monitor a specific unit or a group of units independently, rather than viewing the entire list of units on the map.

    Screen List

This is the list of the screens you create, located at the top left of the screen. When you click + on any screen, a drop-down list of the system's registered units and unit groups will appear.

           Click
Click + to expand the screen list and - to collapse it.

    Creating a Screen

    1. Click on the New Screen icon + at the top right of the list to create a new screen.
      • If you've reached the maximum number of screens allowed, the New Screen icon will disappear. It will reappear once you delete a screen.
      • This action will generate a new screen that includes all the units and unit groups registered within the system.

    2. Specify the unit(s):
      • To search for a unit you wish to follow, simply type its name in the search box. The unit's name and the groups that contain it will appear in the units' list.
      • To follow multiple units or groups, check the small box next to the unit or group name.
      • These units will appear on the map on the right side of the screen in real-time.
      • Alternatively, check the box at the top of the list to follow all units at once.

    3. Set the Tracker Status:
      • Toggle the Tracker Status to enable all motion states, or toggle the motion states of the unit(s) you wish to follow independently:
        1. Follow moving units.
        2. Follow stopped units.
        3. Follow stopped units with the engine on.
        4. Follow moving units with the engine off.

    Deleting a Screen

To delete a screen, click the trash bin icon next to the screen name. You can also delete screens by clicking the icon on the map.

    Maps

Each time you create a new screen, a new map will be generated. The map on the right will be divided into multiple maps, one for each screen created.

This capability streamlines tracking and particularly valuable for monitoring rooms and control centers with large displays. With the MUF feature, users can add up to 9 separate screens, each displaying the live locations of up to nine different units at once, offering a more organized and efficient approach for real-time monitoring.
