Zones Activity Reports focus on vehicle interaction with geofences and operational zones. These reports help monitor visits, movement patterns, route compliance, and operational efficiency related to predefined geographic areas.
Report Types
1. Geofences
Description
Shows vehicle activity related to geofences, including entry and exit events during the selected timeframe.
Key Insights
- Vehicles entering or exiting geofences
- Entry and exit timestamps
- Duration spent inside each geofence
Data Filters
- Geofence
- Event Type (Enter / Exit)
Required Sensor
- GPS Module (mandatory)
Report Input
- Units
- Geofences
- Fields (Zone , Duration, Route length, Max Speed, Driver, In Weight, Out Weight, etc.)
How the report is calculated
The system detects when a unitβs GPS position crosses geofence boundaries and logs corresponding entry and exit events.
2. Containers History
Description
Tracks the movement and visit history of containers within defined zones, showing when containers were detected at specific locations.
Key Insights
- Container visit history
- Duration of stay per location
- Movement between zones
Data Filters
- Geofence
- Container
Required Sensor
- GPS Module (mandatory)
Report Input
- Containers
- Fields (Date, Location, Duration, Status, Pickup Date, Pickup Time, Picked By, Type, District, etc.)
How the report is calculated
Container position data is matched against geofence boundaries to record presence, movement, and duration inside each zone.
3. Customers Visits
Description
Displays vehicle visits to customer-defined geofences, helping track service visits and delivery compliance.
Key Insights
- Number of customer visits
- Arrival and departure times
- Duration spent at each customer location
Required Sensor
- GPS Module (mandatory)
Report Input
- Units
- Customer Geofences
- Fields (Unit Name, Customer Type, Customer Phone Number, Visit Start Time, Visit End Time, Duration, Driver, Tailer, IMEI, etc.)
Data Filters
- Driver
- Trailer
- Customer Type
- Min/Max Mileage: Focus on specific trip lengths.
- Time Limitation: Exclude specific periods. When enabled, this feature excludes specific timeframes from the report based on selected hours, weekdays, calendar days, and months.
- Define a time range (e.g., 09:00 to 16:00).
- Choose specific weekdays (e.g., Sunday).
- Include only certain days of the month or use quick filters like Odd/Even.
- Select specific months of the year.
- Click on the Inverse button to treat the selected time ranges as excluded periods instead of included ones.
Users can:
Use Time Limitation to narrow report data to relevant operating hours or to exclude non-working periods.
How the report is calculated
Each time a vehicle enters and exits a customer geofence, the visit is recorded, and the visit duration is calculated.
4. Round Trip
Description
Monitors vehicle trips that start and end within the same geofence, supporting round-trip and return-to-origin analysis.
Key Insights
- Completed round trips
- Start and end times
- Trip duration and distance
- Vehicles that did not complete a return
Report Input
- Units
- Geofences
- Fields (Geofence Out, Geofence Out Time, Geofence In, Geofence In Time, Minimum Speed, Maximum Speed, etc.)
Required Sensor
- GPS Module (mandatory)
Data Filters
- Geofence
- Trip Status
How the report is calculated
A round trip is identified when a unit exits a geofence and later re-enters the same geofence within the selected timeframe.
5. Operational Plans
Description
Evaluates vehicle adherence to predefined operational plans based on geofence sequences and visit order.
Key Insights
- Planned vs. actual zone visits
- Missed or skipped locations
- Order compliance
Report Input
- Units
- Operational Plans
- Fields (Day, Main Vehicle, Region, Governorate, Municipality, District, Neighborhoods)
Required Sensor
- GPS Module (mandatory)
Data Filters
- Operational Plans
- Geofence
How the report is calculated
Actual geofence visit sequences are compared against the predefined operational plan to identify compliance or deviations.
6. Geofence Round Trip
Description
Tracks round trips specifically between defined geofences, allowing analysis of movement between operational locations.
Key Insights
- Trips between selected geofences
- Time spent outside and inside zones
- Completion of planned geofence loops
Data Filters
- Start Geofence
- End Geofence
Required Sensor
- GPS Module (mandatory)
Report Input
- Units
- Drivers
- Geofences
- Fields (Date, Unit Name, Driver, Zone, Time In, Time out, In Office Duration, etc.)
How the report is calculated
The system identifies trips where a unit exits a geofence and later completes the trip by returning to the same or paired geofence.
Notes
- Accurate results depend on proper geofence configuration
- Small or overlapping geofences may impact detection accuracy
- Reports require continuous GPS data during the selected timeframe
